Sofalesung: Ed Wige & Yves Raeber – Milch Lait Latte Mleko – AUSGEBUCHT

At this Sofalesung, a Swiss debut author presents her texts from a shared flat sofa or studio couch in a personal setting. Ed Wige reads from «Milch Lait Latte Mleko» (Verlag Die Brotsuppe 2026, translated from the French by Yves Raeber). Told through the eyes of a girl whose mother and she flee the war in Yugoslavia to Switzerland, the novel speaks of exile, the aftermath of war and family secrets. The French original won the Swiss Literature Prize in 2024.
