The Grand Afternoon Tea

The Grand Afternoon Tea is a British afternoon tea served in the historic lobby of the Dolder Grand in Zurich. The hotel itself is behind the offering: it serves Länggass tea, warm scones and pastry creations by Pastry Chef Katrin Wagenblast alongside savoury dishes by Sous Chef Bianca Jessner. These come with a glass of Lenoble AOC Champagne Extra Brut and The Grand Afternoon cocktail by Head Bartender Matthieu Doucet, also in a non-alcoholic version; oysters and caviar can be ordered. Available as a classic or vegetarian option – and during the holiday season, golden origami doves by Belgian designer Charles Kaisin float through the lobby.
