Lecture on truth in criminal and civil proceedings.

This event is part of the University of Zurich's lecture series «Wahrheit und Lüge» (Truth and Lies) and turns to the search for truth in criminal and civil proceedings. Under the titles «Truth or Justice – That Is the Question / Excluding Truth in the Name of Justice / Rechtssicherheit versus Falsifikation: Wahrheitsfindung im Strafprozess / Beweis das mal! Wahrheit(en) im Zivilprozess», Prof. Dr. Karl Hofstetter, Holly Hoch, Dr. Alexander Vetterli and Matthias Hächler lead the session. The series is organised by the Commission of the Advanced Researchers and Teachers (FFL) and examines different aspects of truth and lies from a transdisciplinary perspective. Its dialogical structure, with each session led by at least two teachers, is meant to foster this reflection.
