Vorlesungsreihe: #7 Weimarer Kino 2: Grossstadt und Gesellschaft

The public lecture series «Filmgeschichte 1: Vom Kino der Attraktionen bis 1945» of the Seminar für Filmwissenschaft at the University of Zurich takes place at the Filmpodium. Prof. Dr. Daniel Wiegand and guests cover film history from the first half of the 20th century, from its beginnings through the silent era to the transition to sound film and classical Hollywood. Lecture 7, «Weimarer Kino 2: Grossstadt und Gesellschaft», lasts 90 minutes and is followed by a film programme, here the Kino-Konzert «Mutter Krausens Fahrt ins Glück». The lecture is free, while the film programme carries the usual admission prices.
