About
A two-hander based on George Orwell's classic „1984“, which tells of the destruction of a human being by a totalitarian surveillance state. It is performed by Anette Daugardt and Uwe Neumann, who present the play in the version of the Kanttheater Berlin. Winston Smith doubts the system and falls in love in the midst of his resistance – but can he trust Julia, or is she with the thought police? Two chairs and a trombone are enough to bring out the menacingly timely core of this dystopia.
