About
Ahmed Maher | Oud – MAKTOUB is an intimate live concert celebrating the album release of MAKTOUB at Morphine Raum. Behind the evening is the Egyptian composer and Oud virtuoso Ahmed Maher, performing with his international ensemble. The music connects the deep melodic traditions of Arabic Maqam with jazz improvisation, warm accordion textures, playful clarinet, and grooving percussion. Contemporary Egyptian melodies and modern European jazz merge into a distinct, evocative sound.
