A reading and discussion in the foyer of the Pierre Boulez Saal. German-Palestinian journalist Alena Jabarine presents her book „Der letzte Himmel“, in which she recalls the summers of her childhood and tells how she moved to Ramallah in 2020 to understand what “Palestine” means. The book contains stories of humanity, joy of life and resistance that help make sense of the reality in Israel and Palestine. The event is held in German and English, with a musical contribution from students of the Barenboim-Said Akademie.
