The Albus Ensemble performs a concert programme of motets from seven centuries under the title "Ich wollt, dass ich daheime wär". The ensemble, founded in Berlin in 2018 by a circle of ambitious choral singers, takes the audience on a journey through time from the 14th century to the present. Fitting the end of the church year, the focus lies on motets dealing with consolation and eternity; the programme is named after the motet of the same title by Hugo Distler. Admission is free, donations requested.
