Ana Roxanne + Clarice

A concert evening at the Betonhalle of silent green Kulturquartier, presented by silent green. Composer and vocalist Ana Roxanne, born and raised in the Bay Area and now based in New York City, channels heartbreak and grief into her second album Poem 1, a blend of decelerated jazz, minimalism and vocal folk forms marked by an awareness of ambient musics. Opening is Clarice, the minimalist and experimental folk music project of Emma Weber, combining voice, sound and silence; she will be joined by Finn Kraft for the performance. The evening promises meditative, cathartic music between vulnerability and stillness.
