Die Anatolische Nacht - Anadolu Gecesi is a concert of Anatolian folk music, sung in Turkish, Kurdish and more, bringing people together to sing and dance. Behind the evening is Petra Nachtmanova, who discovered and learned Anatolian music in Berlin, learned Turkish to understand the songs, and has become part of the community. She sings songs from different regions of Anatolia, accompanied by the musicians Serkan Duran (Bağlama, bouzouki, vocals) and Ceyhun Kaya (guitar, saxophone, vocals). Anatolian music has been at home in Berlin for decades and is now a rich part of the city's music scene.
