A guided tour through the Anna Seghers Museum in Berlin-Adlershof, where the writer lived from 1955 until her death in 1983. Organised by the Akademie der Künste, it looks at the circle of friends who gave the often shy and cautious author support, among them the actresses Steffie Spira and Helene Weigel, the author Berta Waterstradt and the politician Lore Wolf. Her apartment has been preserved in its original state, holding furnishings, personal mementoes and a library of some 10,000 volumes spread over four rooms and the hallway.
