About
A private guided visit through the former living studio of the artist Jeanne Mammen at Kurfürstendamm 29. The visit is organised by GROTTO, which after tours of the Michel Majerus Estate and the Hannah-Höch-Haus invites people to this place; the group will be guided by Dr. Christine Heidemann. Mammen moved into the studio in the rear building with her sister Mimi in 1920 and lived and worked there until her death in 1976. The rooms, preserved by friends, remain nearly unchanged to this day and bear witness to a life closely tied to the history of Berlin; the tour is in German and limited to ten participants.
