About
An artists-in-residence presentation by the dance collective Grupo Oito at AckerStadtPalast. The collective was founded in Berlin in 2006 by choreographer Ricardo de Paula and consists of Brazilian, German, Spanish and Italian dancers living and working in Berlin. The group uses the body as an instrument of transformation, seeking with movement the potentials of resistance and change. Its work is driven by a commitment to equality with a focus on decolonization and feminism, merging different dance approaches to create something new beyond folklore.
