A documentary theatre piece for children aged 9 and up, in which a teddy bear over 100 years old, nicknamed »Bär«, tells of his long life. It is based on the memoirs of Irene Grumach-Shirun, written down by Jill Levenfeld, and tells of the life of a Jewish child under the Nazi dictatorship. The bear remembers beautiful but also very bad moments, for example when the walls shook from the bombs, or when Irene's grandmother was deported. Long closed-off rooms are brought back to life with shadow play and sound; the morning performance is followed by a discussion.
