About
„Ben liebt Anna“ is a musical theatre piece about a first love. It was created by Eva Blum and Matthias Witting, who wrote the book and music, is based on the book by Peter Härtling and is directed by Matthias Witting. The new girl in Ben's class is called Anna and has moved there with her family from Poland; when Ben defends her from his friends' teasing, it is soon said that „Ben liebt Anna“. Being in love turns out to be wonderful and hard at once, and the live music of ten songs lets audiences feel up close the butterflies, the fear of being laughed at, and the liberation of finally approaching each other.
