About
»changes« is a world premiere theatre production in Saal B of the Schaubühne. Author Maja Zade and director Thomas Ostermeier tell of Nina and Mark, a couple of over 20 years: Nina is a member of parliament fighting to keep a run-down women's shelter open, while Mark, once a successful corporate lawyer, has retrained as a primary school teacher after a burnout. Anna Schudt and Jörg Hartmann return to the ensemble and play 23 figures the spouses meet on their way through the day. The play is about the difficulty of changing the world for the better without losing oneself.
