About
"Krug in the Box" is an expressive pop-music courtroom show performed in full playback from a box. Transformation artist Bridge Markland switches rapidly between puppets handled with and without her hands: village judge Adam, plaintiff Rull, her daughter together with her fiancé, and the witness. The trial is about a broken jug, behind which hides another crime – a powerful man harassing a young woman. Kleist's original texts, spoken by various actors, meet fitting songs from 80 years of pop culture, including Hans Albers.
