Butcher Brown / B. Cool-Aid
Zenner, Alt-Treptow 14-17, 12435 Berlin, Alt-Treptow
About
A concert and party evening at Zenner featuring two acts rooted in jams, rhymes and beats. B. Cool-Aid are rapper Pink Siifu and producer Ahwlee, whose gentle, crackling music sits between a live vibe, the Soulquarians and A Tribe Called Quest-style boom-bap; their album Leather Blvd. came out in 2023. Butcher Brown are five groove musicians delivering a heady mix of jams, rhymes and beats, from South Coast hip-hop to Southern rock with edgy improvisation. Their balance of raw energy and soft refinement crosses genre boundaries.
