EUR 21.9
About
A grand choral evening at the Berlin Philharmonie performing Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" with its famous "O Fortuna". For the anniversary "125 Jahre Chorverband Berlin", several Berlin choirs with around 300 singers and an orchestra bring the monumental work to the stage, conducted by Prof. Günther Albers. First performed in 1937, the work is based on medieval texts from the monastery of Benediktbeuern and tells of the cycle of life, fortune, love and transience. Soprano Laura Albert, tenor Theodore Browne and baritone Thomas Lehmann appear as soloists.
