About
The workshop "Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro: Método Elementar (Elementary Method)" is a two-day practice held in English as part of The School of Self-Defense. The artist, author and psychologist Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro (born 1996 in Vitória, Brazil) has developed a practice at the intersection of healing, spirituality and artistic work. Shared meditation along with breathing and imagination exercises form its basis, from which drawings, texts and images emerge; at its center is learning to listen differently – to one's own body and memories. The Método Elementar understands itself as a collective practice opening space for transformation.
