About
"Flying Dance Education – Adults" is a dance class in which participants fly and dance while wearing a harness attached to a fixed point on the ceiling. Behind the class is Iris Gonzalez, a dancer, dance pedagogue and choreographer who has been teaching Aerial and Vertical Dance since 2020. The class combines Aerial Dance with elements of Contemporary and Modern Dance, Acrobatics and Contact Improvisation, including warm-up exercises, an introduction to the equipment and techniques such as Fix Point and Bungee. Afterwards there is an open jam session from 20:45 to 22:00, where everyone can fly, improvise or simply watch in a free and safe atmosphere.
