Cruising the Countryside – Queeres Leben auf dem Land is an exhibition about queer life in small towns, on farms and in remote villages. Curated by Collin Klugbauer, it brings together historical material from the archive of the Schwules Museum, loans from a wide range of queer initiatives and recent video interviews with people from Brandenburg. Most of the material dates from the 1970s to the present, with some parts reaching back to the 1920s. Contemporary artistic positions accompany the show.
