About
„Das letzte Band“ is a play by Samuel Beckett, presented here in the German version by Erika and Elmar Tophoven. It is directed by Jim Rakete, for whom this is his first stage production, with Christian Redl performing. Redl plays the exhausted writer Krapp, who encounters his 39-year-old self through old diary-like recordings. Instead of the tape recorders prescribed by the play, Rakete uses videos, giving audiences a first-ever look into Krapp's wasted life.
