About

"Die Insel der Perversen" is a German Singspiel shown in the Kammer space of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. It was written by Rosa von Praunheim, directed by Heiner Bomhard, and is a world premiere that was invited to the Heidelberger Stückemarkt 2025. Originally conceived as a musical about Putin, it now features the divas of the new Germany, Sahra and Alice, and looks into the near future, in which uninhibited cultural work is harshly punished by deportation to the island of perverts. The piece completes Rosa's trilogy at the Deutsches Theater.
