About
„Die Bettwurst – Das Musical!“ is a musical staging on the stage of Bar jeder Vernunft. Rosa von Praunheim (1942–2025), a renowned director, producer, author and activist of the LGBTQ movement, staged his own cult film from 1971 as a musical, creating a highlight in the venue's stage history. Anna Mateur and Heiner Bomhard comically interpret the models from the film, Luzi and Dietmar, with one advantage over them: they may sing, dance and make delightful nonsense. To songs and arrangements based on Bomhard's music, they circle the revolving stage together with four co-stars until the whole room roars.
