About
A guided tour of the Stasi Records Archive in Neubrandenburg, which keeps the legacy of the former district administration of the Ministry for State Security. Staff members of the archive lead visitors through the card index and storage rooms on a walk that shows the workings of the Stasi and the extent of the records. They explain, among other things, how the Stasi worked with the index cards and why it maintained a network of secret flats in Neubrandenburg. The personal use of the records is also covered, and after the tour advice is available on applying to view Stasi files.
