Agenten, Akten, Aufarbeitung
Einblick ins Geheime - Ausstellung zum Stasi-Unterlagen-Archiv, Ruschestraße, Lichtenberg
About
"Agenten, Akten, Aufarbeitung" is a Bildungszeit seminar (workshop) on the Stasi records as historical sources and a matter of politics. It is organised by the Volkshochschule Steglitz-Zehlendorf together with the Bundesarchiv – Stasi-Unterlagen-Archiv, with the sessions led by experts from the Bundesarchiv. Participants gain insight into the history of the Stasi files and of the archive at the former Stasi headquarters, working with sample files, contemporary witnesses and excursions. The methods and structures of the Ministry for State Security are introduced, and the present-day use of the records is discussed.
