About

“disconnected” is a mobile theatre piece for young people aged 13 and up, performed directly at schools and other locations. It tells of Julian, who edited a picture of his girlfriend with AI and uploaded it, after which she blocked him and disappeared from his life. When Lilly suddenly reappears, she behaves strangely and insists on getting back together with him. The piece by DT jung* is about how digital substitute worlds can never replace direct human contact, and was created as part of the ETC programme Young Europe based on workshops at Berlin schools.
