Ditha Brickwell liest aus ihren neuesten Werken

Ditha Brickwell reads from her latest works at the Kladower Forum. The author, born in Vienna and living in Vienna and Berlin, previously an architect and educational economist, presents two of her most important novels, which also have something to do with Kladow. Der Kinderdieb tells of Otto, an adolescent in the dark Vienna of the 1950s, who falls in love with a refugee girl from Hungary, loses this love and does something unheard-of. Die andere Seite der Nacht tells of the fate of Jewish families in Berlin and their Christian helpers during the National Socialist era, with the courage and empathy of strong women in the leading role.
