About
A chamber music concert of romantic string sounds: the string sextet and string quintet by Richard Strauss, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Johannes Brahms. It is performed by the legendary violinist Pinchas Zukerman together with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker, including Thomas Timm, Amihai Grosz, Naoko Shimizu, Bruno Delepelaire and Olaf Maninger. Zukerman, who has played chamber music since his first violin lesson, says he has learned above all one thing from it: to listen. The concert lasts about one hour and 45 minutes including an intermission.
