A talk-and-discussion event about the Silbernetz hotline, which listens to older people and helps them find a way out of loneliness. The focus is on whether the hotline reaches its target audience and whether it works; an evaluation of this has just been carried out. Dr. Oliver Huxhold of the German Centre of Gerontology presents the results of the ReWisil project, and Elke Schilling of Silbernetz explains how the organisation works concretely and how loneliness is also connected to age discrimination.
