About
"Einstein in the dome – Forschen ohne Tierversuche?" is a live event in the planetarium hall where three scientists give insights into the medicine of the future beneath the dome. The series is run by the Einstein Foundation Berlin and the Zeiss-Großplanetarium; on this evening, Charité 3R and the Einstein Center 3R present projects on methods in biomedicine that avoid animal testing. Milad Rezvani shows how new liver tissue grows from stem cells, Michael Gotthardt explains the molecular processes of the beating heart, and Annette Künkele makes visible how genetically modified immune cells fight tumors. The evening is moderated by neuroscientist Jochen Müller.
