About
„Ex“ is a theatre piece at the Schaubühne. It was written and directed by Marius von Mayenburg. It follows Daniel, an architect, and his wife Sibylle, a doctor, whose tense marriage is thrown off balance when Daniel's ex-girlfriend Franziska rings the doorbell at night and wants to stay. Eva Meckbach, Sebastian Schwarz and Marie Burchard perform; the bitterly biting piece explores how far one can ever trust oneself in a relationship and whether class barriers still exist today.
