„Einfach das Ende der Welt“ is a theatre production at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. After twelve years, a young man returns to his family, having established himself as a successful gay artist in the big city while drifting away from his small-town family. Director Christopher Rüping, together with his ensemble, plunges into the drama of family. The production, taken over from the Schauspielhaus Zürich, has won numerous awards, including an invitation to the 58th Berliner Theatertreffen and the Nestroy Prize 2021; Benjamin Lillie and Maja Beckmann were celebrated as actor and actress of the year 2021.
