»Ex Silens. A communal ritual of sensory reconfiguration« is a communal ritual by Marco Donnarumma that combines trance-inducing sound waves with movement, sound, space and technology. It invites the audience into a radically alternative sensory world in which the human senses are reconfigured. The audiovisual experience is designed for deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing audiences alike and radically rethinks notions such as deafness and cyborg. Donnarumma is an artist, stage director, inventor and theorist, best known for creating body-machines using sound, AI, biosensors and robotics.
