About
„Faust – Die Gretchentragödie“ is a German-language theatre piece with puppets and objects based on Goethe's „Faust. Der Tragödie Erster Teil“ and lasts one hour. It is presented by Ina Durand's „Teatro en una Maleta“. The story follows Dr. Faust, who makes a pact with the devil, and Gretchen, a modest young woman who gives him her full trust and heart. The classic is told openly, humorously and accessibly, visually inspired by German Expressionism combined with medieval aesthetics.
