HERR TEUFEL FAUST mit Dominique Horwitz
Renaissance-Theater Berlin, Knesebeckstraße 100, 10623 Berlin, Charlottenburg
About
“HERR TEUFEL FAUST” is a stage adaptation of Goethe’s “Faust I” at the Renaissance-Theater. Dominique Horwitz brings the German tragedy around Dr. Johann Faust to life, a story whose material has been reinterpreted in every era. The adaptation is by Torsten Fischer, who also directs, with set and costume design by Vasilis Triantafillopoulos and Herbert Schäfer. The piece portrays Faust as a figure who, amid the rush and self-optimization of the 21st century, would be just as unhappy as in his own time.
