The exhibition “Freigespielt! Basketball vor und nach 1989” presents eleven illuminated stelae at Tempelhof Airport. It comes from the 28.15 basketball museum run by ALBA BERLIN and explores basketball history in divided and reunified Germany. It is shown in the CHECK-IN visitor centre and was created in cooperation with the Zentrum deutsche Sportgeschichte and the Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History Potsdam. It is funded by the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship.
