Frollein Tuesday Treasures: folk concert.

A dreamy alternative folk and whimsical folk night takes place at Frollein Langner on Weisestraße 34, hosted by three Berlin-based artists with the usual cosy atmosphere and great drinks. Entry is free at the door, and guests are asked to donate to the artists. H.Birdbath is the Berlin-based alternative folk solo project of guitarist and songwriter Hansje de Vries, who combines classical guitar with experimental digital effects in comforting but moody melodies that invite the listener into a storytelling world of dark fiction, lived experience and complex emotions. Also performing are Renaissance Woman, a whimsical folk artist from a county in Virginia, USA, whose work blends catharsis and hopefulness woven with old-time melodies and soft piano, and Gnomes, an alternative folk duo from the UK making strange, soulful folk music with a playful edge, blending earthy sounds, close harmonies and unexpected turns.
