In the „Ask Me“ format, art mediators are on hand directly in the exhibition rooms of the Neue Nationalgalerie for conversations, questions and short impulses – here under the title „Ruin und Rausch“. Starting from the painting „Potsdamer Platz“, the shared conversation explores the faces Berlin wore in the tumult of the 1910s to 1930s, offering a quick look at the history of the era. Afterwards, visitors can explore expressive and New Objectivity works from the collection on their own, in dialogue with the poetry of the time. The offering is part of the „Volkswagen Group Art4All“ series and the exhibition „Ruin und Rausch. Berlin 1910–1930“, and admission is free.
