About
Huldrelokkk – the call of the troll woman: a concert presenting the full range of Scandinavian folk music from Norway, Sweden and Denmark, sung in three Scandinavian languages. Behind the project is Kerstin Blodig's international female trio: Kerstin Blodig (vocals, guitar, bodhrán), Ditte Andersson (vocals, nyckelharpa) and Elin Johnsson (vocals, violin). At its centre are the songs of the album „Flickor alla“ – mostly old Scandinavian folk songs with authentic instrumentation, featuring captivating three-part vocals, two dazzlingly virtuosic fiddles and a groovy guitar. Whether a reflective, lyrical love song, a spirited „Polska“ or a ballad, the result is always an exciting mix of fresh Nordic sounds that brings much joy.
