I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SOMMERNACHTSTRAUM
Neuköllner Oper, Karl-Marx-Straße 131-133, 12043 Berlin, Neukölln
About
An evening of music theatre that mixes Shakespeare with slasher vibes, moving between dance, scenes, songs and collage. Behind it stands NO Jung, with Bjørn de Wildt directing, Yuval Halpern on music and Bahar Meriç in charge of choreography. A group meets once again, as it does every year, to rehearse A Midsummer Night's Dream – but there was one last summer nobody likes to talk about. What begins as a rehearsal tips into an unplanned night, where dance becomes a hunt and choral singing becomes rumour – comic, uncanny and perhaps too close for comfort.
