In weiter Ferne, so nah!

Under the title „In weiter Ferne, so nah!“, the Zeughauskino hosts a film series dedicated to the cinemas of Czechia and Slovakia. Curated by Ralph Eue, Brigitte Mayr and Michael Omasta, it presents central currents, motifs and fault lines from the First Czechoslovak Republic to the present in eight programs. That evening, Jan Němec's „Démanty noci / Diamonds of the Night“ is on the program, with a preliminary program and a book presentation, an adaptation of a story by Arnošt Lustig.
