An inclusive, creative exhibition tour with an art educator through the exhibition “Eva Frankfurther – Drawn from Life” at Kunsthaus Dahlem. Art educator Hagar Ophir invites participants to capture their impressions of Frankfurther’s works through their own creative responses and discuss them together. The artist painted and drew people in London’s East End who were often overlooked in everyday life, including workers, immigrants and neighbours. The tour offers deeper insights into the artist’s biography and historical context and asks what her portraits can contribute to today’s debates on migration, belonging, work and poverty.
