About

A film programme titled INTERFILM42: The Black Gaze takes place at City Kino Wedding im Centre Français on Müllerstraße in Berlin-Wedding. It brings together seven films that do not make Black life the object of a gaze, but instead determine for themselves where to look. The starting point is the insight that the Black community is not a monolith – so why should its cinema be one?
