About

The exhibition "Jenny Holzer: J’ai vu / I Have Seen" presents language-based works by the American artist Jenny Holzer at the Musée d’Orsay. Since the late 1970s, Holzer has worked with text, installation, and painting, including LED tickers and light projections in public spaces. Her texts and projections ask how words act in space: as memory, warning, testimony, and public address. The contemporary intervention stands out inside a museum associated with the nineteenth century.
