About

An artist talk with French conceptual artist Sophie Calle, moderated by Lisa Hörstmann, curator at Hamburger Bahnhof. The conversation takes place in English as part of the series „In Conversation“ in cooperation with Deutsche Bank. Calle works in photography, text, performance and video, addressing themes such as voyeurism, surveillance, love, intimacy, violence and death. The talk is linked to her first solo exhibition in Berlin in over 20 years, „Sophie Calle. Is It Better?“, presenting six bodies of work from the last three decades.
