Bergkapelle Rüdersdorf: 170 years of brass, polka to pop.

The Bergkapelle Rüdersdorf wind orchestra celebrates its 170th anniversary with a large jubilee concert. Founded in 1856, the ensemble has always been closely tied to the Rüdersdorf mining industry. Under longtime conductor Wolfgang Schmiele, it combines traditional marches and polkas with concert wind music, musical melodies, and swing, rock and pop sounds. The programme is a musical journey through the orchestra's history, bringing together mining tradition and fresh musical paths.
