About
KatzPascale is a New York-based duo pairing cello with saxophone, both sounds run through loop and effects pedals. The project is made up of Sammi Katzmann and Jenna Pascale, who blend neoclassical and post-punk elements into an anti-pop style. Their shows often begin in silence, using dimmed lighting and atmospheric staging to create an immersive experience. The music explores the tension between emotional intimacy and experimental rigour, questioning conventions of both classical and indie music.
