Kino im Quartier: Andreas Voigt docs on nomadic herders.

The Kulturraum Zwinglikirche hosts a cinema evening of documentary films by Andreas Voigt. Two films are on the program: „Les Nomades du Cercle Polaire“ and „Männer der Wüste“. The first follows Alexej, Wassili and their families, who belong to the Komi people and drive a herd of 5,000 reindeer with 50 sleds across the Ural mountains, from Europe to Asia, as they do every year. The second joins Imam, Hadrami and Moulay of the Oulad Sbaa tribe, who move with their 200 camels between winter and summer pastures through the desert region in southern Morocco, living as camel herders in search of water and fodder.
